One of the hardest things about weight loss is sticking to a diet protocol for an extended period. Knowing that you will lose only 1 to 2 pounds a week can make it frustrating to give up the foods you love. However, by following the HCG meal plan, you will lose 4 to 7 or even more pounds a week. With results like that, you will stay motivated for the entire six weeks.Wait a minute – did we just say six weeks?That is correct; your initial weight loss phase is only six weeks. After that, you get to add back some of the foods you missed and increase your daily caloric intake. You know that six weeks goes by fast. - It is extremely expensive – you can feed a family of four for a month on what many of these programs cost for 3 weeks for one person.
- You will be defeating the purpose of this diet – changing the way you look at and prepare food. If you do not learn how to make healthy meals while you are losing weight, you will not know what to do once you reach your goal. That is how many people put the weight back on. Do not worry if you don’t have much time for food preparation. We will teach you how to make a week’s worth of food in only a few hours one day a week.

HCG Meal Plan for Phase 1
The HCG Diet protocol consists of 4 distinct phases. The first one lasts only 2 days, and you will be surprised at how you will begin Phase 1 of the HCG Diet. Phase 2 goes through day 44. You will spend days 45 through 73 in Phase 3. Then, after maintaining your ideal weight, you will enter Phase 4.During Phase 1 of the HCG Diet, you will be preparing your body for rapid weight loss. To do so, you need to load it up with readily available fat and carbohydrates to use as you begin your diet. We call this the loading phase, and you must not skip it. If you do not properly prepare your body, you will not see the dramatic results that accompany this diet.Your HCG meal plan Phase 1 instructions are as follows:
- Consume a minimum of 2,000 calories each day for the first two days that you administer your HCG injections
- Include high-fat content foods and carbohydrates at every meal
- A little bit of alcohol is fine – do not binge
- When consuming foods high in sugar, make sure they are also high in fat content
- Eat everything you love and will miss during these two days
Here is what you need to know about Phase 1 – too much sugar (including from alcohol) will lead to withdrawal symptoms such as headaches. We want you to load up on fats. You can have your cake and eat it too by choosing desserts such as full-fat ice cream, pudding, cake, pies, and cookies. These items contain both fat and sugar.
Phase 1 HCG meal plan options include burgers, pizza, pasta, potatoes, ribs, and other fat-laden favorites.
HCG Meal Plan for Phase 2
After eating everything in sight for two days, your body will be ready to start losing weight. On day three of your HCG injections, you will begin your 500 calorie-a-day diet program. You are restricted to only the foods on the shopping list we provide. All carbohydrates, dairy, sugars, and fats are removed from your diet. Aside from helping you lose weight, this phase of the HCG Diet will help rid you of your counterproductive cravings.There are two different ways to fulfill the HCG meal plan Phase 2:
- Have only a coffee or tea for breakfast and then eat an HCG-approved lunch and dinner
- Have one piece of fruit or an egg with your coffee or tea and then continue with lunch and dinner as listed above
Some people who are used to having large breakfasts may feel the need to eat a little something in the morning. For many, half a grapefruit is all they need. We want you to drink a full glass of water before you do anything else. This will help flush toxins and fat out of your body as well as fill you up. You can have as much coffee and tea as you wish – with these reminders:
- No more than 1 tablespoon of 2% milk per day
- Only stevia may be used to sweeten beverages – flavored stevia is fine
- The only allowed fruits are berries, apples, oranges, and grapefruits (you can use lemon and lime to flavor your foods and beverages
You are allowed 3 servings of fruit each day. You can eat them with meals or as between meal snacks. Some people like to make baked apples to have at night for a treat.Each meal will consist of one 3.5 ounce serving of protein and one cup of a chosen vegetable from the list. HCG Meal Plan for Phase 3
Even if you have not reached your final weight loss goal, on day 45, you will move into Phase 3 of the HCG Diet. The purpose now is to let your body adjust to your new lower weight. You also need time to get the HCG out of your system so that it can work again in a few weeks when you repeat Phase 2 for additional weight loss.While on the HCG meal plan Phase 3, you will gradually increase your daily caloric intake (first to 1,000 and then to 1,200) and enjoy some of the forbidden foods you have missed. Although you will still omit sugars, carbohydrates, starches, and artificial sweeteners from your diet, you will be pleased to know that you can once again have dairy, fats, and more options for fruit, vegetables, and protein.Once you reach your goal and finish Phase 3, you will enter Phase 4 – the maintenance phase for the rest of your life. Eat what you want – within reason, and enjoy your new, trimmer body.
By the time you finish 3 to 4 weeks on Phase 3, you will likely notice all your old cravings have disappeared.
