HCG Diet Phase 2 Food List
Unlike many other weight loss programs that put you on a restricted diet for an unspecified time until you reach your goal, the HCG Diet is set up so that you are only in the weight loss phase for six weeks at a time. During your weight loss phase, you will eliminate all fats, dairy, carbohydrates, starches, and sweeteners (natural and artificial – except for Stevia). Here are three of our favorite HCG Diet recipes:
Recipe 1 – Shirataki Noodles Marinara Sauce (vegetarian)
4 large tomatoes (or as many as you want if you wish to increase the recipe)
1 6 ounce can tomato paste
1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
1 tablespoon dried basil or fresh rolled and chopped basil to taste
2 cloves of garlic crushed and minced
2 tablespoons minced onion
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt, pepper, and cayenne to taste
Pinch of marjoram
Add liquid Stevia to taste if you like a sweeter sauce.
Chop tomatoes or puree in a food processor for a smoother texture. Place tomatoes, paste, and broth, and spices in a saucepan and heat. Slow cook for 30 minutes to an hour. Allow the liquid to reduce or add additional water to achieve desired consistency.
Rinse and drain 1 bag of Shirataki Noodles. Add noodles to cooked sauce and serve.
Note 1: You can boil the noodles for 1 minute in water before adding to sauce.

Recipe 2 – HCG Beef Chili
Makes 2 servings
1/2 lb ground turkey or beef
1 15 oz. can tomatoes (puree half of the tomatoes)
1/2 onion
1/8 – 1/4 tsp organic chili powder
1 cup water
Sauté meat and onions until done.
Add all tomatoes, chili powder, and water.
Simmer at least 15 minutes and serve.
Recipe 3 – Virgin Sparkling Mojito
Fresh mint leaves crushed
Juice of ½ lime or lemon
Peppermint or plain powdered stevia
6 ounces sparkling mineral water
Crushed ice
Crush mint leaves to release the flavor. Add liquid or powdered stevia and lemon or lime juice. Add sparkling mineral water and crushed ice. Top with a sprig of mint and enjoy.
